Method
BBQ Ribs
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.
- 3
Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, cover with another layer of foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.
- 4
French Fries
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into sticks. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 6
Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 7
Fry the Potatoes
Drain and pat the potatoes dry, then fry in batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.
Coleslaw
- 8
Combine Vegetables
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrot.
- 9
Make Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- 10
Mix Together
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture, and mix until everything is well coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
