BBQ Ribs

Method

BBQ Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs and trim any excess fat. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let the ribs marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 160°C / 320°F).

  5. 5

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down. Cover and cook for approximately 2 hours, turning occasionally.

  6. 6

    Add the BBQ Sauce

In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce over the ribs. Turn the ribs every 10 minutes and add more sauce as desired.

  7. 7

    Rest and Slice

Once cooked through and tender, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
