Cooking the Ribs

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Rinse the short end ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove any excess fat.

Season the Ribs
Rub the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly over the ribs to ensure they are well seasoned.

Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet and cover them with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours.

Finish Cooking
Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.

Rest the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before cutting them into portions.
