Bread Pudding Ingredients
Method
Bread Pudding Directions
Prepare the Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Mix the Custard
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Combine Ingredients
Pour the custard mixture over the torn bread. Gently fold in the fire roasted Fuji apples. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the custard.
Bake the Pudding
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serve
Allow the bread pudding to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top and drizzled with caramel sauce.
