Slider Patties

Fried Onions

Au Jus

Method

Slider Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground ribeye steak, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form into Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

In the last minute of cooking, place slider buns on the grill or skillet to toast lightly.

Fried Onions

  1. 5

    Slice the Onion

Peel and slice the onion into thin rings.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, milk, and salt to make a batter. Dip the onion rings into the batter to coat.

  3. 7

    Fry the Onions

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the battered onion rings in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Au Jus

  1. 8

    Prepare the Au Jus

In a saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, minced garlic cloves, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let cook for about 10 minutes to meld the flavors.
