Loaded Waffle Fries

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Cook the Waffle Fries

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen waffle fries package. Spread the frozen waffle fries evenly on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Bake the Fries

Bake the waffle fries in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through cooking for even crispiness.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

While the fries are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  4. 4

    Chop the Bacon

Once the bacon has cooled slightly, chop it into small pieces.

  5. 5

    Prepare Green Onions

Wash the green onions and slice them thinly, separating the white and green parts.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Loaded Waffle Fries

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot fries, followed by the chopped bacon and the white parts of the green onions.

  7. 7

    Melt the Cheese

Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

  8. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the fries from the oven, sprinkle with the remaining green parts of the green onions, and serve with sour cream and ranch dressing on the side.
