Burger Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove the bacon and set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.

- 3
Form the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Divide the beef into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty slightly larger than the buns.
- 4
Cook the Patties
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook each beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- 5
Prepare the Vegetables
Slice the tomato and wash the lettuce leaves. Set aside.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by crispy bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
