Method

Dough Preparation

1

Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

2

Mix Dough Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.

3

Knead the Dough

Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4

Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

5

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

6

Shape the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into your desired pizza shape.

7

Add Toppings

Spread the lemon ricotta evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Arrange the sliced yellow tomatoes and corn kernels on top.

8

Season and Drizzle

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle the hot honey over the toppings for a touch of sweetness and heat.

9

Bake the Pizza

Transfer the assembled pizza to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.

10

Garnish and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh basil. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
