Chicken Tenders
Dipping Sauces
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 2
Breading and Frying
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, coating evenly. Shake off any excess flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken strip with the bread crumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pan or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot, about 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add breaded chicken strips into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, turning halfway for even cooking.
- 6
Drain the Chicken
Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to transfer the chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
