Method
Prepare the Tea Base

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweeten the Tea (optional)

Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweetened iced tea, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar, 0.5 cup of honey, or 1 tsp of stevia while the tea is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.
Flavor the Tea (optional)

Add Flavorings
For added flavor, stir in 0.5 cups of lemon juice, 0.5 cups of fresh mint leaves, or 1 cup of peach slices. Mix well to combine.
