Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Skillet

Place a large skillet over medium heat to preheat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Corned Beef

Slice the Certified Angus Beef corned beef into thin pieces, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Layer Ingredients

Take two slices of rye bread and spread 1 tablespoon of Russian dressing on each slice. On one slice, layer half of the sliced corned beef, followed by half of the sauerkraut, and then two slices of Swiss cheese.

  2. 4

    Complete the Sandwich

Top with another slice of rye bread, dressing side down. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make a second sandwich.

Cook the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Butter the Bread

If using, spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich.

  2. 6

    Grill the Sandwich

Place the assembled sandwiches in the preheated skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side, ensuring the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.

Serve

  1. 7

    Slice and Serve

Once cooked, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Let them cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve immediately with additional Russian dressing on the side if desired.
