Method

Preparation of Fruits

  1. 1

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and slice them into halves.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Blackberries

Wash the blackberries gently to avoid crushing them. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Peaches

Wash the peaches, remove the pit, and slice the peaches into thin wedges.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Prickly Pears

Wear gloves to handle prickly pears. Cut off the ends, slice them lengthwise, and scoop out the flesh. Chop the flesh into small cubes.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Ginger

Peel the fresh ginger and grate it finely.

Mixing the Mimosa

  1. 6

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the prepared strawberries, blackberries, peach wedges, and prickly pear cubes. Add the grated ginger.

  2. 7

    Add the Juices

Pour in the orange juice and gently stir to combine the fruits and juice.

  3. 8

    Add the Champagne or Prosecco

Slowly pour the champagne or prosecco into the pitcher, allowing the bubbles to mix in without overflowing.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve the Mimosa

Fill glasses with the mimosa mixture, making sure each glass gets a good amount of fruit. Garnish with extra fruit if desired. Enjoy chilled.
