Chicken Tenders

Assembly

Method

Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into tenders. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Dredge the Chicken

In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In another bowl, mix flour and cornstarch. In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken tender in flour, then egg mixture, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Nashville Sauce

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine hot sauce, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and vegetable oil. Cook over medium heat until well mixed and heated through, stirring occasionally.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each challah bun, place a few leaves of lettuce, followed by fried chicken tenders. Generously drizzle Nashville sauce over the chicken, and add pickles. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
