Liquid Ingredients

Glitter Potion

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Glitter Potion

In a small bowl, mix the edible glitter with water until well combined. Set aside to allow the glitter to dissolve slightly.

  2. 2

    Juice the Lemons

Using a citrus juicer, extract the juice from fresh lemons until you have 60 ml. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (e.g., 30 ml of each). Heat over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing glass or cocktail shaker, combine the champagne, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently to mix the ingredients without losing too much carbonation.

  2. 5

    Add the Glitter Potion

Slowly pour the glitter potion into the mixed drink, allowing it to swirl and create a shimmering effect.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Chilled

Pour the Champagne Supernova into champagne flutes. Optionally, garnish with a lemon twist or a sprinkle of extra edible glitter on top. Enjoy immediately!
