Directions
- 1
Prepare the Bolognese Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add ground beef and ground pork, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Pappardelle
While the sauce is simmering, cook the pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 3
Assemble the Lasagna
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large baking dish, spread a layer of the bolognese sauce at the bottom. Place a layer of pappardelle on top, followed by dollops of ricotta cheese, some mozzarella, and goat cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella cheese on top.
- 4
Bake
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.
