Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the orange, lemon, lime, and peach into thin wedges. Remove the stems from the strawberries and slice them in half.

  2. 2

    Mix the Base

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced fruits with the sugar. Use a wooden spoon to gently muddle the fruits and sugar together, releasing the juices and dissolving the sugar.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 3

    Add Liquids

Pour in the red wine, orange juice, and brandy into the pitcher with the muddled fruits. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Introduce Fizz

Just before serving, add the Sprite or 7-Up to the pitcher to give the sangria a refreshing fizz.

  3. 5

    Add Spices

Drop in the cinnamon stick for added flavor. Allow the sangria to sit for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Over Ice

Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with additional fruit slices if desired.

  2. 7

    Enjoy

Serve chilled and enjoy your refreshing sangria!
