    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients: bread, cheese, tomato, dill pickles, and butter.

Assembly

  1. 2

    Assemble the Sandwich

Lay one slice of bread on a clean surface. Place 1 slice of cheddar cheese followed by 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top. Add 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of dill pickles. Top with the second slice of bread.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melting. Flip the sandwich and add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Grill for another 3-4 minutes.

Serving

  1. 4

    Serve the Grilled Cheese

Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the skillet. Cut it in half and serve immediately.
