Chicken Tenders

Dipping Sauces

Method

Preparation of Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coating

In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in the first, whisk together eggs and milk in the second, and combine the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the third.

  2. 2

    Coat the Chicken

Take each chicken tender and first dredge it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Next, dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere. Repeat with all chicken tenders.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large, deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the temperature by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; if it sizzles right away, it's ready.

  2. 4

    Fry the Tenders

Carefully place the coated chicken tenders into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  3. 5

    Drain the Tenders

Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions

  1. 6

    Serve with Dipping Sauces

Arrange the crispy chicken tenders on a serving platter and serve with your choice of bleu cheese, ranch, BBQ, honey mustard, Frank's Red Hot, or Sriracha for dipping.
