Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Take the ground beef and form it into two equal-sized patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.

  4. 4

    Toast the Rolls

Lightly toast the Martin's Potato Rolls on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread a generous amount of comeback sauce on the bottom half of each roll. Place the lettuce, tomato slice, onion slices, and pickles on top. Add the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, then top with the other half of the roll.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your favorite side dishes.
