Prepare Marinara Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Simmer Sauce
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, red pepper flakes, sugar, and salt. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add fresh basil in the last 5 minutes.
Cook Shrimp

Sauté Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Add the shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side or until they are pink and opaque.
Combine and Serve

Pour the marinara sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot, optionally over pasta or with crusty bread.
