Method

Prepare Pasta

  1. 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguini until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook Seafood and Sauce

  1. 2

In a large, deep skillet or sauté pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.

  2. 3

Add minced garlic, shallots, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and translucent.

  3. 4

Add mushrooms and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until softened.

  4. 5

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off.

  5. 6

Add clams and seafood stock. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, or until clams open. Discard any unopened clams.

  6. 7

Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque.

  7. 8

Stir in crab meat and gently heat through for 1–2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve

  1. 9

Add drained linguini to the pan and toss gently to coat with the seafood and broth mixture.

  2. 10

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and adjust seasoning if needed.

  3. 11

Serve immediately, optionally with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
