Pork Ribs

Method

Prepare the Ribs

1

Marinate the Ribs

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well. Add pork ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

2

Cook the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cook in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours or until tender. Baste with leftover marinade every hour. For extra caramelization, you can broil for the last 5-10 minutes.

Prepare the Sesame Slaw

3

Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and sliced green onions. In a separate small bowl, mix sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.

4

Serve

Serve the spicy Korean pork ribs hot, accompanied by the sesame slaw on the side.
