Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Remove the Angus Beef Top Sirloin from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps the meat cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Beef

Pat the beef dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil all over the surface of the steak. Then, sprinkle the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly on both sides of the steak, pressing it in gently.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until it is hot.

  2. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the seasoned Angus Beef Top Sirloin on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Serve

After resting, slice the steak against the grain into thick slices. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with a lemon wedge on the side for added flavor.
