    Mix with Liqueur

If using, stir in 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur to the coffee mixture.

  3. 3

    Dissolve Sugar

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the warm coffee and stir until fully dissolved.

Making the Mascarpone Filling

  1. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a large mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar until pale and creamy.

  3. 6

    Combine with Mascarpone

Gently fold in 16 oz of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the egg mixture until smooth.

  4. 7

    Incorporate Whipped Cream

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

Assembling the Tiramisu

  1. 8

    Dip Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 9

    Layer the Base

Lay half of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer in a 9x9 inch dish.
