Salad Base

Method

Preparing the Croutons

  1. 1

    Make the Croutons

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

Drizzle the olive oil over the bread cubes, then sprinkle with garlic powder and salt. Toss until the bread is well-coated.

  3. 3

Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool.

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 4

    Prepare and Grill the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 5

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Allow to rest before slicing.

Making the Dressing

  1. 6

    Prepare the Caesar Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 8

    Combine and Serve

In a large bowl, tear the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Add the sliced grilled chicken, croutons, and hard-boiled eggs (sliced).

  2. 9

Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Top with additional Parmesan cheese for garnish. Serve immediately.
