Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and remove the shells and tails. Pat them dry with a paper towel and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prep the Potatoes

Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water. Peel them if desired, then cut them into bite-sized cubes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Corn

Remove the husk and silk from the corn cob. Cut the corn kernels off the cob if preferred, or leave it whole for boiling.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, fill with water and bring to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Cook the Corn

In the same pot of boiling water, add the corn cob and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. If using corn kernels, cook for about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Once the corn is cooked, add the shrimp to the pot and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

  4. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, corn, and shrimp. Toss gently to mix and season with salt and pepper to taste.
