Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 2

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Shape the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out to a 12-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Add Tomato Sauce

Place the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. 8

    Add Cheese and Toppings

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the sliced meatballs and roasted red peppers. Finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

  5. 9

    Drizzle with Garlic Oil

Drizzle the garlic oil over the top of the pizza for added flavor.

  6. 10

    Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  7. 11

    Slice and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
