Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Finely chop the garlic and parsley. If using vegetarian substitutes, cook lentils or chickpeas if needed.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the chosen ground meat (beef, pork, turkey, or vegetarian substitute), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Add Egg

Crack the egg into the mixture and use your hands to mix everything until well blended. Do not overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.

Forming and Cooking

  1. 4

    Shape the Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  2. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  3. 6

    Bake the Meatballs

Once the oven is preheated, bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
