Preparation of Bread

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Roast Bread
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush them with olive oil, and roast in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Preparation of Fig Sauce

Prepare Figs
Wash the fresh figs and remove the stems. Cut them into quarters.

Cook Fig Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine the quartered figs, honey, and lemon juice. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes until the figs break down into a sauce. Remove from heat and let cool.

Spread Mascarpone
Once the bread is roasted, spread a generous layer of mascarpone cheese on each slice.

Add Fig Sauce
Top the mascarpone with a spoonful of the fig sauce.

Add Prosciutto and Rosemary
Place a slice of prosciutto over the fig sauce and sprinkle with fresh rosemary. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
