Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling a rocks glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Four Roses bourbon, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of trifecta bitters.

Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled rocks glass and strain the mixed cocktail into the glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish
Garnish the drink with 1 Luxardo cherry and an expressed piece of orange peel. To express the orange peel, hold it over the drink and gently squeeze to release the oils.
