Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Cooking
- 3
Bake the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the wings are crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway through.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, prepare your choice of sauce. For hot or mild sauce, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in the hot or mild sauce until combined. For BBQ, simply measure out the BBQ sauce.
- 5
Toss the Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour your choice of sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Serving
- 6
Serve and Enjoy
Transfer the coated wings to a serving platter. Serve immediately with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
