Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, roughly 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the fresh salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, depending on thickness. Do not move the salmon while it cooks.

  2. 4

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Making Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Lemon Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 6

    Add Lemon Juice and Herbs

Stir in the fresh lemon juice, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Salmon

Remove the grilled salmon from the grill and place it on a serving platter.

  2. 8

    Drizzle with Lemon Butter

Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the grilled salmon fillets and serve immediately.
