Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients to ensure you have everything ready for assembly.
- 2
Prepare the Brisket
If using smoked brisket, shred or chop it into bite-sized pieces. If substituting with smoked chicken, follow the same shredding or chopping process.
- 3
Heat the Charro Beans
In a small saucepan, heat the charro beans over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
Assembling Nachos
- 4
Layer the Tortilla Chips
On a large baking sheet or a serving platter, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.
- 5
Add the Beans and Brisket
Evenly distribute the warmed charro beans over the tortilla chips. Then, layer the shredded smoked brisket (or chicken) on top of the beans.
- 6
Pour on the Queso
Drizzle the white queso cheese generously over the nachos, ensuring to cover the chips, beans, and brisket.
- 7
Add the Toppings
Spoon dollops of guacamole and crema over the nachos. Then, add a generous amount of tomato salsa and jalapeños on top.

Serve Immediately
