Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with the pork rub seasoning evenly on all sides. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.

Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add the apple cider vinegar and water. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork shoulder from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes. Use two forks to shred the pork into bite-sized pieces. Mix in your favorite BBQ sauce to taste.

Cook the Sausage
Add the Joe’s KC sausage links to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and heated through.
