Method

Cheesecake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the crust

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the crust

Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

  3. 3

    Prepare the filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar, mixing well.

  4. 4

    Add remaining ingredients

Mix in the sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.

  5. 5

    Bake the cheesecake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

  6. 6

    Cool and chill

Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
