Pasta and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the garganelli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the English peas and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked garganelli pasta to the skillet with the peas. Chop the prosciutto and add it to the skillet as well. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
