Mixing the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the whiskey, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds to chill the mixture.

Once chilled, strain the mixture into a short glass filled with a large ice cube.
