Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all ingredients and prepare the toppings. Slice the red onion and wash the lettuce.

Make the Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 8 oz patties.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce, cooked burger patty with melted cheese, bacon, pickled green tomatoes, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the Brasstown Beef Burger with your choice of side.
