Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients and prepare the toppings. Slice the red onion and wash the lettuce.

  2. 2

    Make the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 8 oz patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

  4. 4

    Cook the Burgers

In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed and cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce, cooked burger patty with melted cheese, bacon, pickled green tomatoes, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the Brasstown Beef Burger with your choice of side.
