Beef Tenderloin

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Tenderloin

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides until browned.

  2. 2

    Make the Blue Cheese Crust

In a bowl, mix the blue cheese, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Once the beef is seared, remove it from the skillet and place it on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Apply the Crust

Spread the blue cheese mixture over the top of the beef tenderloin.

  4. 4

    Roast the Beef

Roast the beef in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for precision.

  5. 5

    Rest and Slice

Remove the beef from the oven, cover it loosely with foil, and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
