Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Vinaigrette
In a small bowl, whisk together Banyuls vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until emulsified. Set aside.
- 2
Crust the Brie
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet and sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts on top. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is soft and the hazelnuts are golden.
- 3
Plump the Cherries
In a small saucepan, add the dried cherries and enough water to cover them. Simmer for about 5 minutes until they are plump. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Caramelize the Honey
In a small saucepan over medium heat, gently warm the honey until it becomes slightly caramelized, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 5
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, toss the Bibb lettuce with the vinaigrette. Divide the lettuce onto plates, then top with the hazelnut crusted Brie, plumped cherries, and drizzle with caramelized honey.
