Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Caramelized Onions

Slice the onion and cook it in a skillet over medium heat with a little oil until it becomes soft and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet or a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

Form and Cook the Burger Patties

Divide the ground steak into two equal portions and form into patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in the skillet or on a grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding American and cheddar cheese on top during the last minute to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Spread dijonnaise on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by two slices of bacon and a generous amount of caramelized onions. Drizzle with red wine demi-glace and place the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Matchstick Fries

Fry or bake the matchstick fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Serve alongside the burger.
