Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the Ribs
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

Cook the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, cover with another piece of foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Finish the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Preheat and Mix Dry Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). In a bowl, mix together the cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cornbread
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Serve
Allow the cornbread to cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares and serve with the BBQ ribs.
