Prepare the Prawns

1. Poach the Prawns

In a medium saucepan, combine olive oil, black garlic cloves (smashed), and red chili flakes. Heat over low heat until the oil is warm and aromatic, about 10 minutes. Add the gulf prawns and poach gently for about 5-7 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt to taste.

Grill the Bread

2. Grill the Country Bread

While the prawns are poaching, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush both sides of the country bread slices with olive oil. Grill the bread for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.

Serve

3. Plate the Dish

Once the prawns are done, remove them from the oil and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle some of the poaching oil over the prawns, and serve with the grilled country bread on the side.
