Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Form the Burgers

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions (4 oz each) and form them into loose balls.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burgers

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the beef balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, bacon, tomato, onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your choice of sides.
