Make the Meatballs
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cook the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 1/2 cucumber (grated and drained), 1 garlic clove (minced), 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, and salt to taste. Mix well.

Assemble the Dish
Serve the meatballs in warm pita bread, topped with pickled red onions and tzatziki sauce.
