Method

Shrimp and Sauce Preparation

1

Cook the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

2

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning

Stir in cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tomatoes soften.

3

Finish with Shrimp and Olives

Add shrimp, black olives, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.

4

Add Butter

Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted and well combined.

Focaccia Preparation

5

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

6

Knead and Rise

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

7

Shape the Focaccia

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet. Dimple the surface with your fingers.

8

Bake

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
