Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick-cut peppered bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Form the Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Burger
Spread house BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place the cooked patties on top, followed by the crispy bacon slices and crispy onions. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the burgers with your choice of fries on the side.
