Crust and Filling

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the chocolate pretzels into fine crumbs and mix with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form an even crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar until well combined. Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Pie

Spread the peanut butter filling over the cooled pretzel crust, smoothing it out evenly. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours to set.

  4. 4

    Make the Chocolate Drizzle

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just simmering. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling over the set pie.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the chocolate drizzle has set, slice the pie and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie!
