Pork Steak

Grill Marinade

Method

Pork Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. This will be your marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Place the pork shoulder steaks in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Grilling the Steak

  1. 3

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your wood fire grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Steaks

Remove the pork steaks from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on one side until you see a nice sear.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Flip the steaks and cook for another 6-8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  4. 6

    Glaze with Honey Soy Mixture

In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce. Brush this mixture onto the pork steaks during the last 2 minutes of cooking for added flavor.

Rest and Serve

  1. 7

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked, remove the pork steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

  2. 8

    Serve

Slice the pork steaks and serve with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy your perfectly grilled pork steak!
