Method

Cooking the Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into 8-ounce patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip them, and place a slice of cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Prepare Onion Rings

If using frozen onion rings, cook them according to package instructions until golden and crispy. If making homemade, dip onion slices in batter and fry until golden.

  3. 5

    Prepare French Fries

Cook the french fries according to your preference, whether baked or fried, until they are golden and crispy.

  4. 6

    Heat Cheese Sauce

In a small saucepan, heat the cheese sauce over low heat until warm, stirring occasionally. Alternatively, microwave in a bowl for about 30 seconds.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Place one patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with bacon strips, onion rings, and a generous portion of french fries. Drizzle with warm cheese sauce. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.
